  • Schenley Park Oval -1 Overlook Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15238. Meet at the restrooms/vending machines.

This weeks workout

10-15 minute warmup

Drills

1 x 200   (3k pace)

2 x 400   (3k pace)

2 x 200   (1 mile pace)

4 x 400   (3k pace)

4 x 200   (1 mile pace)

200 jog/ walk recovery between intervals

10 minute cool down

*Focus on good form and proper pacing.  The purpose of this workout is to promote leg turnover and efficient running and should have you ready to rock and roll this weekend if you are running a Fourth of July race. 

 

Please make sure to stay hydrated.  Also, if you have recently raced please make sure to listen to your body and adjust your speed/workout accordingly.  Check out www.mcmillanrunning.com to get your training paces.

Coaches and mentors will be on site at each location to help guide you with the proper workout. All runners are welcome!

Check-in will begin at 6:15 PM and the workout will start at 6:30 PM.
