  • 29 Oct 2016
  • 8:00 AM
  • 810 River Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15212

Join us for the first of four FREE charity running schools! This first school is focused around "Why Run for Charity". Listen to a few stories from current charity runners about the reasons they run for charity and some ideas about how easy it is to fundraise for a great cause.

Location: SCRR Garage, 810 River Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Program:
8:00 AM - FREE costume-themed run with Steel City Road Runners (3, 6, 10, 14 miles) - you can join run walk run or Ucan2 if you're a novice runner!
9:00 AM - "Why Run for Charity" featuring the Runaway Brides of the 2016 Pittsburgh Marathon. They used their shenanigans for good and raised $2,500 for Project R.U.N!

PLUS our official charities will face-off as YOU determine who can make the best pie and chili! Support your favorite charity while tasting delicious fall treats.

All registered charity runners will receive a free gift upon check-in. All attendees are encouraged to stick around through 10 AM for some great raffles and prizes!

You don't have to be a charity runner or SCRR member to attend.

Please RSVP here to provide us with an accurate head count for food items.
